About This Kaupapa
Stories for Our Mokopuna
This is a creative wānanga for adults who want to slow down, reflect, and make something deeply personal.
This session centres on remembering those who have passed, carrying stories forward, and creating a handmade junk journal as a vessel for memory, whakapapa, wairua, and intention.
Using paper, found materials, writing prompts, texture, image, and creative play, participants will begin building a journal that can hold whānau stories, personal reflections, future hopes, or messages for the generations to come.
This is not about making a perfect book. It is about making space for what wants to be remembered, released, or carried forward.
All materials are provided. No creative experience is needed.
